A coal seam gas company Metgasco has disposed of over one million litres of dirty salty water to a sewerage treatment plant at Casino that is not licensed to take such a waste.
Large volumes of water are drawn up from under ground in most coal seam gas sites as a by-product of the gas extraction process.
REGYP produces gypsum products suitable for treating the salty water from coal seam gas wells to enable it to be re-used in agriculture, civil & industrial appllications.
