Victoria is pushing to achieve the state’s Towards Zero Waste (TZW) Strategy targets to increase resource recovery rates to 75% by 2014.
The programs support projects that increase materials diversion from landfill.
2014 TZW Strategy Targets:
65% Resource Recovery Rate – Municipal Sector
80% Resource Recovery Rate – Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Sector
80% Resource Recovery Rate – Construction & Demolition (C&D) Sector
